"The Eyes have It"

"The eyes have it" 8x10 oil on board

Boxer dogs can be strange looking creatures, but they are always a joy to paint, and this fellow has such trust and inquisitiveness in his eyes I just had to capture that feeling.
I hope I did!

    The eyes are just perfect. They look very real. He does have lovely eyes.

    I grew up with Boxers. They are such special loves, and you have captured his soul perfectly.
